A 57-year-old woman presented to a private practice with the chief complaint being “I’m self-conscious about the appearance of my teeth. Also, I’ve lost most of my teeth and I cannot eat well because of that”.
A 30-year-old man presented to a private practice with the chief complaint being “I want to replace the teeth that are missing on my upper jaw”.
A 74-year-old woman presented to a private practice with the chief complaint being that she did not want to use dentures anymore and have more comfort and better appearance. The clinical and radiographic examination revealed the absence of all teeth except the two upper canines (Fig 1-4).
64-year-old female patient who came with an old mixed fixed-mobile prosthesis The patient is in good health and is a non-smoker. The patient expressed the desire to have all her teeth fixed and together with the patient we decide to extract all the dental elements, move away irreversibly and place 6 implants to make a screwed prosthesis.
Solution is All-on-4 procedure with following preparation of the removable prothesis on a titanium bar. The bone reduction of irregular lower jaw edges is made. 2 pcs 4,3×9 mm EL C-Tech implants are placed in 31 and 43 positions. 2 pcs 4,3×11 mm EL C-Tech Morse locking implants are placed in 35 and 45 positions under 30° angle.
After developing our model, it is acquired by means of a structured-light scanner. Once the master model has been acquired, the virtual processing starts with Exocad. When the 3D virtual model is obtained, the tooth library to be used on the model is selected and the virtual design phase starts.
