Upper arch rehabilitation with particular focus on soft tissue care

64-year-old female patient who came with an old mixed fixed-mobile prosthesis The patient is in good health and is a non-smoker. The patient expressed the desire to have all her teeth fixed and together with the patient we decide to extract all the dental elements, move away irreversibly and place 6 implants to make a screwed prosthesis.

6 C-Tech implants are placed in region 1.1,1.3,1.6,2.1,2.3, and 2.5. I decide not to carry out immediate loading because region 1.2 has been carried out and 1.3 a bone removal has been carried out with autologous material that can be taken from the preparation of the implant sites and a resorbable membrane blocked with a pin while it was inserted in region 1.6 a with elevation of the crestal sinus membrane with MISE technique. After a healing period of about 6 months, the implants were exposed and the impressions were immediately taken for loaded elements started with MUA and abutments.

After about three months, useful for a progressive loading of the implants and to condition the soft tissues, plaster impressions were taken. The prosthetic product was designed by Luca Palermo (Dental Technician in Naples) and milled directly by the C-Tech Implant laboratories.

The structure was tested on the patient to verify the absolute accuracy, all tests were carried out first by screwing one fixing screw at a time and then all together. We check the absolute fitting of the structure. The work was sent for ceramic to be delivered.
