Surface Topography

EL implants are acid etched in order to create the largest surface area possible for osseo-integration. The implants are thoroughly washed following each process in order to ensure that no residue remains from any of the production or treatment steps.

Below photos taken with an electron microscope show the implant surface with magnifications ranging from 50 X to 20,000 X.
