Innovativo design di impianto dentale presenta miglioramenti a livello di tasso di successo, stabilità ossea e vantaggi estetici
A retrospective study over 3 years including 2-year follow-up Henriette Lerner, DMD Director of HL Dentclinic (private practice focussed on implantology)
Lo scopo di questa ricerca consiste nella valutazione retrospettiva di un design implantare e protesico innovativo in base ai criteri seguenti:
1. tasso di successo dell’impianto,
2. perdita ossea e stabilità del livello osseo in corrispondenza del colletto dell’impianto (attualmente è comprovato che la connessione conica a cono Morse è il tipo di connessione più stabile). Di conseguenza, alcuni sistemi di impianti hanno già iniziato ad adottarla e hanno dimostrato la stabilità del livello osseo conseguita con questa connessione (Bicon, Ankylos),
3. estetica misurata in punteggio dell’estetica rosa,
4. spessore della gengiva a 3 mm dal margine libero gengivale,
5. larghezza della gengiva cheratinizzata attorno agli impianti,
6. altezza della gengiva attorno agli impianti
Lo studio comprende i dati di 137 pazienti con 608 impianti (C-Tech, Bologna, Italia).
Risultati: La perdita dell’impianto ha interessato solo due impianti (dopo 6 mesi), entrambi di uno stesso paziente. Il tasso di successo di quelli inclusi nello studio a 6, 12, 18 e 24 mesi è stato del 100 per cento. Su nessun soggetto incluso nello studio è stata rilevata perdita ossea. I punteggi dei tessuti molli sono indicativi di un risultato estetico elevato.
Conclusione: Il sistema implantare impiegato nel presente studio ha presentato tassi di successo elevati sia per quanto riguarda la stabilità in situ che gli aspetti estetici. Quindi, nell’ambito dei dati raccolti, si può raccomandarne l’utilizzo nella popolazione generale.
